So let's get down to business: I'm Krysta, a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach, who for years struggled to understand why my dedication and hard work in the gym didn't translate into the physique I wanted, expected, and felt I deserved. After trying and failing with various diets on a yearly cycle, I was fed up with blaming any external factor I could cling to.

I finally found a FYX - an approach that is equally effective for short and long term goals, holidays, vacations, breakups, job changes, moves, and celebrations: you know, life.

I want to empower you with this fitness FYX. The first step in getting you there? Taking time to learn about YOU. That's my number one job as your coach, above all else. I want to know where you've been, what you've tried, how you measure success, and what drives you.

my fitness & nutrition journey

As a longtime swimmer and high school athlete, I’ve always had a love for exercise—I frankly never struggled to maintain a workout schedule. But I knew something was missing: the consistent effort I put into my workouts did not translate into the physical results I anticipated I could and should see. In 2017, I took a hard look at what was on my plate. My typical nutritional choices consisted of “healthy eating” during the week, and essentially no rules on weekends. I had seen some changes, specifically between the first two photos, in a six-month period. The real game changer? The decisions I made between photos two and three. With the help of a nutrition coach, I completely flipped my view on the idea of dieting. The last two photos were taken in the fall of 2018, and are less than four weeks apart. What do they show? When you learn HOW to eat, rather than simply WHAT to eat, you can and you will adopt a sustainable and enjoyable lifestyle. Fitness FYX is NOT a quick or temporary fyx.
